Expert colour consultancy for your home
Are you overwhelmed by the sheer volume of paint colour choices available? With thousands of options and so many factors to consider, selecting the right colours for your home can feel like navigating a complete minefield.
That's exactly where my colour consultancy service can help
I'll provide you with a bespoke colour palette that considers the unique characteristics of your home – the quality of light, architectural features, aspect, and your preferred decorating style.
Together, we'll talk through different options with the overall aim always focused on creating a scheme that flows harmoniously throughout your home, giving you the confidence to move forward.
Step one
Once you've made a booking, feel free to send any helpful information ahead of time – images of your spaces, floor plans, or a brief description of what you want to achieve. During our consultation, we'll discuss your project in detail so I can gain a thorough understanding of your colour preferences and the scope of the work.
Step two
It's always preferable to meet in person so I can fully appreciate the light, architecture, and any existing fabrics, artwork, or furniture you're incorporating into the scheme. However, if that's not possible, we can arrange a video consultation via Zoom.
Step three
Following our meeting, I'll narrow down the paint choices to 2-3 carefully considered options (depending on your project scope) and send you a detailed document outlining these recommendations. You can then purchase samples yourself, or I can arrange for them to be delivered directly to you. I always recommend trying at least 2-3 different options for primary areas, painting them on large pieces of paper so you can view them in different locations, at various times of day, and in changing lighting conditions before making your final decision.
Step four
After testing your samples, we'll have a follow-up call where we can make any necessary revisions and narrow down your final choices. You'll receive clear documentation outlining exactly which paint goes where and in what finish, leaving absolutely no room for error when instructing your decorators.
