Briefing Stage
This initial "getting to know you" phase is where we explore your vision through a series of conversations. I listen carefully to your ideas whilst sharing my own thoughts and inspiration, making recommendations throughout to ensure we're completely aligned.
Concept development stage
Here we begin the design work in earnest, researching and gathering inspiration which I present in visual concept boards. Together we'll explore layout options through floor plans and furniture arrangements, develop electrical layouts, and refine your colour schemes. I'll present samples of proposed hard finishes and fabrics so you can truly understand the vision, along with renders or detailed joinery designs where needed.
Design development stage
After your feedback on the concept, I'll finalise all the details and offer alternative solutions for anything you'd like to revise. You'll receive detailed final concept and sample boards, floor plans, elevations, and specifications for furniture and fittings. With these in hand, you can confidently execute the vision without being sidetracked by the overwhelming number of choices out there.
Procurement and implementation
The exciting stage where your design comes to life – though admittedly, this can be the most stressful part as it often involves dust, noise, and disruption! I can be on hand to ease you through it, liaising with trades, placing orders, and chasing deliveries to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule.
